Jon Sigvert

Co-founder & CEO at Reel

Jon Sigvert has a diverse work experience, ranging from co-founding and being the CEO of Reel, to holding various roles in MoTempo, such as Founder & CEO and Chairman of the Board. Along with their entrepreneurial endeavors, they have served as a Student Assistant at Ramboll Energy, a member of the Leadership Team and Student Consultant at Millennial, and a Student Representative at DTU Environment. Jon has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at DTU Management. Throughout their roles, Jon has acquired skills in business development, negotiation, sales, logistics, management, and academic guidance.

Jon Sigvert's education history begins in 2015 when they enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (BSc) program in Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Jon completed their Bachelor's degree in 2018.

In the same year, Jon Sigvert joined the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) as a Climate-KIC Master Label Student. Jon pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Engineering at DTU from 2018 to 2021. During this time, in 2019, they also participated in an exchange semester at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where they gained knowledge in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and School of Business and Technology Management.

Jon Sigvert further enhanced their knowledge and skills in the field of environmental engineering by participating in the Journey - The world's largest climate innovation summer school organized by EIT Climate-KIC in 2019.

In 2020, Jon Sigvert obtained additional certifications to broaden their expertise. Jon completed the Physical and Financial Power Market Course by Nord Pool Academy and the PPA Academy by Pexapark.

Throughout their academic journey, Jon Sigvert has focused on environmental engineering, displaying a commitment to expand their knowledge and skills in this field.
