Ebony Hatchett is the Manager of School & Community Partnerships at Reel Works since September 2019. Prior to this role, Ebony held various positions in the film industry including Founder, Producer, and Director at Future Mind Films, Film Instructor at LPZ Cinetech, and Production Specialist at Clara Kasavina Collection. Ebony also worked as an Actor and Video Operator at Big Art Group and holds an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from The City College of New York.

Reel Works mentors, inspires, and empowers underserved NYC youth to share their stories through filmmaking, creating a springboard to successful careers in media and beyond. Reel Works matches teens 1:1 with professional filmmaker mentors to tell their stories and have their voices heard. MediaMKRS, a workforce development program within Reel Works, aims to diversify the media landscape and create equitable solutions through paid internships and job training programs.
