Sam Terfa has worked in the technology and data science fields for over 20 years. In 2021, they began working as a Data Scientist for Reema Health. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Data Science Consultant for Carrot Health. From 2001 to 2018, they worked for Minnehaha Academy, where they served as Director of Technology, Senior Manager of Information Systems, and Math and Physics Teacher. In their role as Director of Technology, they managed the school's technology team, advised the school on the impact of technology on education, developed and maintained R scripts to connect information systems together via API, and authorized and budgeted technology purchasing. As a Math and Physics Teacher, they were a go-to technology expert and often took on challenges to make something happen.
