Utku Simitli

Utku Simitli is a co-founder and head of product at Faradai since January 2021, specializing in enterprise software for measuring and reducing energy costs and carbon emissions. Simitli also co-founded REENGEN in May 2012, focusing on digitizing and optimizing energy management using IoT and data analytics for energy efficiency in various facilities. Prior experience includes working as a project researcher at the Center for Energy, Environment and Economy, contributing to impactful research in energy efficiency and related fields from September 2012 to July 2014, and as a project engineer at BSH Home Appliances Group, where coordination of energy efficiency targets took place across multiple factories from March 2011 to September 2012. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science Engineering from Marmara University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Özyeğin University, alongside an exchange program at Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes.
