Kate Ayers

Executive Director at ReEstablish Richmond

Kate Ayers is an experienced educational leader and nonprofit executive with a background in special education. Currently serving as the Executive Director of ReEstablish Richmond since June 2013, Kate has also held the role of Outreach Coordinator within the organization. In addition to this position, Kate chairs the Office of New Americans Advisory Board from January 2023 to July 2024. Prior to these roles, Kate worked as a Special Education Teacher in Hanover County Public Schools from August 2002 to June 2013. Kate holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Virginia, earned between 1996 and 2001.
