Angel Veza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in food waste reduction and program management. Currently, as Senior Manager at ReFED since July 2017, Angel oversees the Catalytic Grant Fund, focusing on funding opportunities and portfolio management to drive impactful food waste solutions. Angel also serves on the Advisory Board of the Food Recovery Network and has previously held roles such as Hospitality Food Waste Analyst at the World Wildlife Fund, where innovative tools like the Ingredient Yield Heat Map were developed. Early career experiences include designing a Zero-Waste Menu at Google while in culinary school, and leading operations as the Founding Site Coordinator for Breakthrough New York. Education includes a Grande Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center and a Bachelor's degree from Tufts University.
