Pamela B. Murphy

Pamela B. Murphy is Chairman of the Board at ReFED and serves on the Presidents' Council of the Woodwell Climate Research Center, the IBES advisory council at Brown University, and the board of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and is Vice Chair of Waste at The Garden Club of America. Pamela previously served as Chairman of the Board and board member at Island Press (2016–2020), was Conservation Committee Chair of the Perennials Garden Club (2017–2022), and was a board member of the United States Botanic Garden Friends (2011–2020). Earlier in the career, Pamela held roles in banking and consulting, including Vice President, Leveraged Buyouts at Citibank (1985–1988), associate at Russell Reynolds Associates (1988–1992), and banker at Manufactures Hanover (1981–1985).
