Parminder Nayyar Chhatwal has extensive work experience in software engineering and development.

From 2019 to the present, Parminder has been working at ReferralExchange as a Lead Engineer, where they hold a leadership role in the development team. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2019, Parminder worked at ReferralExchange as a Software Engineer.

From 2012 to 2017, Parminder worked at Federated Media Publishing, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer. In this role, they served as a tech lead for the core ad platform team, overseeing the design and implementation of scalable interactions with Google's ad serving and sales management platforms. Parminder also led integrations with various social media APIs and played a key role in release planning and post-release support.

In 2012, Parminder briefly worked at VMware as a Software Engineer.

From 2011 to 2012, Parminder worked at Adteractive as a Software Developer. Their responsibilities included creating and building portals and applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Parminder also maintained MySQL databases and developed a job search portal that generated education leads for EDU business.

From 2007 to 2009, Parminder worked at Rancore Technologies as a Sr. Software Engineer. During this time, they were involved in the development of a high-availability solution for the ICSCF (Interrogating – Call Session Control Functionality) node of IMS, utilizing Radvision SIP and DIAMETER stacks and OpenSAF Middleware. Parminder also conducted research on new IMS services and contributed to design, coding, debugging, load testing, and code reviews.

From 2004 to 2007, Parminder worked at Reliance Infocomm as a Software Engineer. Their primary focus was on an IP-based, one-box solution that supported up to 1000 subscribers and offered the features of legacy switching systems. Parminder developed this solution using C++ on Sun Solaris Platform, utilizing the Ulticom SIGTRAN protocol stack.

In 2003, Parminder started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Defence Research and Development Organisation in India. They were associated with the Snow And Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE) and developed a software application called "SnowPack Pro" that identified layers of snow within a snowpack and provided spatial variability analysis for avalanche prediction. This software is currently being used by the organization to assist defense personnel and the civil population.

Parminder Nayyar Chhatwal completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University between 2000 and 2004.
