Skye Talavera

Skye Talavera has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role as a Product Manager at ReferralExchange, they started in 2022 and are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked at WeAdmit Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Operations Lead from January 2020 to September 2021, where they recruited and trained a team of contractors, designed a web app, and practiced agile software development. In 2019, Skye worked at Frederickson Partners as an Executive Search Associate, where they sourced candidates, managed team sync-ups, and prepared reports for clients. Before that, they were a Human Resources Information System Consultant at Sophos in 2018, implementing a new HR information system and programming an algorithm for PTO accrual. Skye also worked as a Curriculum Design Editor at Stanford University Graduate School of Education in 2018, copy-editing publications and formatting teacher toolkits. Additionally, they worked at Worldreader as a Global Insights Intern in 2017, conducting data analysis and literature reviews. Skye's earlier work experience includes roles at Stanford University, State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Ideas en Acción, and County of San Mateo.

Skye Talavera attended Stanford University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies. Prior to their time at Stanford, Skye completed the International Baccalaureate program and received an IB Diploma. In February 2018, Skye also obtained a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI.
