Timothy Tan

Timothy Tan is a project engineer at ReferralCandy, and they previously worked as a Jumpstart Program Trainee at ThoughtWorks from September 2018 to December 2018. Timothy has a background in data science, and they used their programming skills in python to improve their computer science skills during their time at ThoughtWorks. Some of the key learnings that Timothy acquired while at ThoughtWorks include writing proper tests, continuous integration of clean code, and working effectively in an agile software development team. During their time at ThoughtWorks, Timothy also worked on three different projects: Postbox Hunter, Yodone, and Wellderly.

Timothy Tan has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, General from National University of Singapore, and a Minor in technopreneurship from University of Pennsylvania. Timothy also has an Information Technology degree from Thoughtworks, and Data Science degrees from General Assembly, Coursera, and edX.

They work with Maythee Anegboonlap - Product Engineer, Daniel Goh - Product Engineer, and Hafiz Azmi - Software Engineer, Intern. Timothy Tan reports to Glenn Sunkel, Engineering Manager.
