Stephen Maughan

Stephen Maughan is an experienced professional with a robust background in product management, engineering, and interdisciplinary bioscience. Currently serving as a Product Manager and Product Owner at Refeyn since May 2022, Stephen previously completed a DPhil at the University of Oxford while developing a super-resolution microscope at STFC, focusing on imaging division proteins in bacteria. Prior to this, Stephen held various roles at Malvern Panalytical from September 2009 to September 2017, including System Engineer, Bid Manager, and Assistant Development Engineer, responsible for systems architecture, tender submissions, and development testing. Additionally, Stephen gained leadership experience as a Production Manager at Loughborough Students' Union, overseeing event-related technical operations, and started a career in retail as a Sales Assistant at The Co-operative Group. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University and a Diploma in Leadership and Management from the University of Worcester.
