Tushita Gupta has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2015. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer Internship at Blue Coat Systems, where they developed features for the SSL Visibility Product and addressed 10+ bugs in the GRUB Loader. Tushita then went on to be an Air Traffic Control Software Engineering Intern at Raytheon in 2016. In 2017, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Intel Corporation. In 2018, they were a Data Services Intern at Intuitive Surgical, where they developed a custom real-time compressor for kinematic data from the da Vinci robot and reduced bandwidth and storage requirements by about 6x. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer at Atomwise, where they were the architect of a highly scalable AWS/Kubernetes based ML workflow that enabled running hundreds of drug discovery projects a year, and developed a novel, intelligent method to further reduce cost and runtime of ultra large chemical libraries exploration by up to 6x and 16x respectively. Tushita is currently a Co-Founder & CTO at Refiberd.

Tushita Gupta began their educational journey in 2014, when they attended Carnegie Mellon University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a double major in Biomedical Engineering. Tushita then continued their studies at the same university, graduating in 2018 with a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
