Devin Burke

Devin Burke is currently a Bioinformatics Data Scientist at RefinedScience, a position held since April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Bioinformatics Engineer for ML Research Faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder from March 2020 to December 2023, where significant contributions were made to several projects, including the TEPEAK pipeline for identifying transposable elements and developing a population-wide SV Pipeline. Previous roles include a Machine Learning Intern at Earable and a Machine Learning Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, where innovative strategies for de-noising neurological pain signals were developed. Devin also has experience as an Undergraduate Research Resident at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Academic qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Machine Learning and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Computer Science and Biochemistry, all earned at the University of Colorado Boulder.
