Irwan Bello

Irwan Bello is a skilled professional in the field of artificial intelligence and statistics, currently serving on the founding team at ReflectionAI since January 2024. Previously, Irwan was a member of the technical staff at OpenAI, contributing to AGI research and product development, including ChatGPT and GPT-4, from February 2023 to February 2024. Prior to that, Irwan was part of the founding team at Character.AI and worked as a research scientist in the Google Brain team, focusing on deep learning, large language models, and computer vision from June 2016 to December 2021. Irwan began the career as a research assistant at Stanford University, specializing in deep reinforcement learning from March 2015 to March 2016. Irwan holds a Master of Science in Statistics/ICME with an option in Data Science from Stanford University (2014-2016) and a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Applied Math from CentraleSupélec (2011-2013).
