Asha Kurup

Asha Kurup has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Asha started their career as an Appointment Setter at FIN MEDIA in 2008, followed by work experience as a Work Experience student at Pitcher Partners and Minter Ellison Lawyers. In 2011, they took on the role of Assistant Manager at Five Tuition, where they stayed until 2012. Asha then worked at the University of Melbourne as a Data Collection staff for a short period in 2012. In 2013, they interned as a Youth Representative at Brahma Kumaris at the United Nations. Asha also worked as a Campus Coordinator at Five Tuition for 8 months in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Asha ventured into freelance work as a Copywriter and Consultant, where they wrote various advertising materials and conducted research. In 2017, they took on the role of Social Media Director at Reflections Advertising and also started their own consultation business, Sentient Genie Consulting.

Asha Kurup attended East Doncaster Secondary College for their Year 7-10 education. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Mac. Robertson Girls' High School for Years 11-12, where they obtained their VCE. Following this, Asha studied at the University of Melbourne from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Politics and International Studies, as well as Asian Studies.
