Martín Schonaker

Martín Schonaker has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Martín started their career as a Technical Leader at Accendra Networks in 2005, where they led the development of intranet web-based enterprise applications and implemented Javascript components for improved user experience. In 2006, they became a Lead Engineer at Intelligenx, where they played a key role in the development of Discovery Engine 5, a search engine for enterprise data, and worked on customer projects. Martín then joined Globant in 2008 as a Senior Software Developer, working on a BPM platform and leading the development of an automatic file distribution system. At ProcessOne in 2009, they worked as a Java Developer, developing an Android chat messaging client and Grails web applications. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Asante Argentina as a Java Developer, where they designed a platform for search and indexing based on Lucene and developed the search component of the buenosaires website. At Globant from 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Architect and contributed to various projects, including Android device setup and diagnostics for Facebook and an e-commerce project for Google's Project Ara. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Reflektion as a Lead Engineer, leading the machine learning team's transition to the AWS SageMaker platform and contributing to the development of a question/answering machine learning solution and a content search product.

Martín Schonaker pursued their higher education at the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. From 1997 to 2008, they studied Systems Engineering and obtained a degree in Analista Programador Universitario (University Analyst Programmer). Martín then continued their education at the same university and from 1997 to 2015, they completed their studies in Systems Engineering, attaining the degree of Ingeniero de Sistemas (Systems Engineer).
