Ling Shao

Ling Shao is an accomplished professional in the field of medical imaging and radiation therapy with extensive experience in algorithm development and software engineering. Currently serving as Senior Director of Algorithms Development at RefleXion Medical since March 2019, Ling Shao leads the development of algorithms for innovative biology-guided radiation therapy systems. Previous roles include Co-Founder at SLX Design, where Ling Shao developed a medical imaging diagnosis assistant tool, and Sr. Director of Software Engineering at ViewRay Incorporated, overseeing the software life cycle for radiation therapy systems. Ling Shao's career also includes key leadership positions at Philips and ADAC Lab, focusing on advanced molecular imaging, nuclear medicine, and product development, underlined by a strong foundation in research and education with a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Scientific Instrumentation from Zhejiang University.
