David Rogg

David Rogg is the managing partner at Reformation Partners. David has over eight years of experience in the venture capital and investment banking industries.

David started their career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. David then co-founded Shmob, an app to help friends find each other and plan events on-the-fly. After a successful exit, David joined FirstMark Capital as a vice president. At FirstMark, David helped lead investments in some of the most successful companies in the world, including Pinterest, Shopify, Riot Games, and InVision.

In their current role at Reformation Partners, David is focused on helping entrepreneurs build category-defining companies. David is passionate about using technology to solve problems and improve people’s lives.

David Rogg's educational career includes earning a type AB degree with majors in economics and Spanish literature, as well as a minor in computer science, from Dartmouth College. David was valedictorian of their class. David also attended Moses Brown School. Their field of study at Universidad Complutense de Madrid was literature, history, and art history. David has certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 63 and 79.
