Jennifer Patterson

Jennifer (Marshall) Patterson is a Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center since January 2023. Additionally, Jennifer has served as the Director of the Institute of Theology and Public Life at Reformed Theological Seminary since March 2019. Prior to these roles, Jennifer held various positions at The Heritage Foundation from 2003 to March 2022, including Senior Visiting Fellow, Vice President, and Director of Domestic Policy Studies. Jennifer's earlier experience includes working as a Policy Analyst at Empower America, a Teacher/Administrator at The American School of Lyon, and an Education Policy Analyst at the Family Research Council. Jennifer earned a PhD in Moral Theology/Ethics from The Catholic University of America and holds multiple degrees, including a Master's Degree in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Statecraft and World Politics from the Institute of World Politics. Jennifer completed a B.A. in French Language Teacher Education at Wheaton College.
