Rainer Gaebel

Rainer Gaebel has held various roles throughout their work experience. Rainer started their career in 1992 as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Werkstoffmechanik IWM and worked there until 1997. Rainer then joined Refratechnik Cement GmbH as an Area Sales Manager from 1997 to 2003. Rainer then moved on to become the Managing Director at Refratechnik Group from 2003 to 2005. After that, they served as the Managing Director at Refratechnik Steel GmbH from 2005 to 2011. Since 2011, they have been the Managing Director at Refratechnik Group/Refratechnik Holding GmbH.

Rainer Gaebel completed their education in a chronological order. Rainer began their academic journey at The Philipp University of Marburg, where they obtained an Intermediate Diploma in Mineralogy from 1986 to 1988. Subsequently, they enrolled at The University of Göttingen and earned a Diploma in Mineralogy between 1988 and 1992. Lastly, they attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they pursued a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and successfully completed their studies, earning a Dr.-Ing. degree, from 1992 to 1996.
