Fahira Mulamehic

Fahira Mulamehic serves as the Employment Programmes Manager and Project Manager at the Refugee Council, where since January 2011, responsibilities have included leading the Building Bridges programme, which aids overseas-trained healthcare professionals in re-qualifying and finding employment in the NHS. Additionally, Fahira coordinates projects such as Just Bread, aimed at empowering vulnerable women through bakery training, and has managed the Starbucks partnership under the British Refugee Council’s initiative to hire refugees. Previous experience includes project management roles focusing on training and employment support for refugees with various organizations including the London Borough of Brent and Refugee Aid and Development. Fahira holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Studies from the University of Sarajevo.
