Imran Hussain

Imran Hussain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Director of Policy & Campaigns at Action for Children since December 2017. Prior roles include Director of Policy, Rights & Advocacy at Child Poverty Action Group UK from December 2009 to December 2017, and Head of Policy & Communications at Prison Reform Trust from October 2007 to December 2009. Imran has also held leadership positions as Head of External Affairs & Campaigns at Breakthrough Breast Cancer and served as a Trustee for Student Action for Refugees. Additionally, Imran contributed to the Campaigns & Public Affairs team at Refugee Council from 1999 to 2005, showcasing a strong commitment to social justice and advocacy throughout a diverse career.
