Sarah Sonne has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Sarah is currently serving as a Trustee at Sheffield Women's Aid and as a Run Leader (Volunteer) at Strideout Running Club. In their past roles, they have worked as the Head of Business Development at Refugee Council, where they led national business development and engaged with statutory commissioners for funding. Sarah also served as a National Development Manager and a National Project Manager, overseeing crisis response projects and managing partnerships across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Sarah Sonne attended the University of Liverpool from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained an undergraduate BA degree in History and Politics. Prior to that, they attended Maricourt Catholic Sixth Form College from 2009 to 2011 and Maricourt Catholic Secondary School from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their educational background, Sarah has certifications in leadership and safeguarding in athletics, obtained in 2023 from England Athletics.
