Loan Liem

Loan Liem is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health, particularly in humanitarian settings and fragile states. Currently serving as the Medical Team Lead at Stichting Vluchteling since July 2023, Loan previously held various roles at Simavi, including Consultant for ProNoSO and Senior Programme Manager, focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) coordination and operational research. Loan's background includes significant positions in response to the Ebola crisis with Save the Children International, and a history of improving health systems in conflict-affected regions through roles at organizations such as the Dutch Refugee Foundation and Médecins Sans Frontières. Loan holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Liverpool and a degree in tropical medicine from Radboud University.
