Kato Ahmed

Kato Ahmed is an experienced Project Accountant with a robust background in finance and accounting, currently serving at the Refugee Law Project since September 2010. Responsibilities include overseeing financial functions such as budgeting, cash flow management, and payroll, in addition to organizing external audits and enhancing internal control systems. Previous roles at THETA African Solutions and Protecting Families Against HIV/AIDS involved developing budgets, ensuring compliance with donor financial requirements, and training staff on accounting best practices. Kato Ahmed holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Islamic University in Uganda and a Bachelor of Commerce from Makerere University.
