Eden Hailemariam has extensive experience in nursing and customer service. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Ascension since November 2020, Eden has also worked as a Sales Associate at Gap since November 2013, where responsibilities included organizing displays and providing style advice to customers. Additionally, Eden has been an Interpreter for Refugee Services of Texas since January 2013, delivering interpretation services for various clients, including hospitals and government agencies. Previous experience includes an Administrative Assistant role at Saint Marry Computer Center from 2003 to 2004. Eden holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The University of Texas at Arlington and has pursued additional education at Dynamic Computer Center from 2002 to the present, along with studies at Austin Community College from 2013 to 2018.

Refugee Services of Texas is a not-for-profit social service agency guided by principles of human compassion and dignity committed to providing quality services for refugees, asylees, survivors of human trafficking, and related vulnerable populations. With six social service centers located in Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, the Rio Grande Valley, and San Antonio, RST provides resettlement services and social services programs tailored to meet the needs of their individual clients and respective communities.
