Solomon Haileyesus

Solomon Haileyesus has a strong background in language services and community support, currently serving as a Volunteer Interpreter and Translator for both Refugee Services of Texas and American Gateways since 2015, while mentoring refugees and asylum seekers. Previously, Solomon worked as an Employment Specialist and Translator at Caritas of Austin, focusing on assisting the homeless, immigrants, and the elderly in finding employment, and held an internship as an Assistant Volunteer Coordinator at Easter Seals Goodwill Industries. Additional experience includes a role as a Case Worker intern at Catholic Charities. Solomon holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Social Work from Texas State University, completed in 2014.
