Helina Solomon

Helina Solomon is a seasoned professional in refugee resettlement and protection, currently serving as a Resettlement Expert at UNHCR with RefugePoint since April 2024. Previously, Helina held the position of Associate Resettlement and Complementary Pathways Officer at UNHCR from October 2023 to March 2024 and has extensive experience as a Resettlement Expert at RefugePoint from February 2021 to September 2023. Helina's background includes roles at RefugePoint and UNHCR dating back to 2015, as well as earlier positions at the World Food Programme and Salini Impregilo S.P.A Ethiopia Branch. Helina earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Hawassa University in 2010.
