Mercy Kimanthi

Mercy Kimanthi is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience in child welfare and family support. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Social Worker at RefugePoint since August 2023, Mercy previously held the position of Senior Family Social Worker at Tushinde Children's Trust from February 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included identifying families for support programs and conducting core assessments. Prior experience also includes the role of Area Social Worker at Macheo Children's Organization from March 2015 to December 2018, focusing on the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children through casework and service delivery planning. Mercy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Nairobi and is furthering expertise through The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.
