Boaz Shnapp

System Architect and Developer

Boaz Shnapp has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Boaz began their career in 1981 as the Owner & C.E.O of Reshuma Ltd., leading a team of 30+ and responding to RFP and SOW. In 1999, they co-founded iPass - Safe3W, a provider of computer security technology solutions, and invented IDshield, a patented technology that provides software-only two-factor authentication. In 2002, they became a consultant for Elbit Systems Ltd., designing and developing a core framework for distributed trainer/simulation capable of using over 100 computers for a single synthetic battlefield. Boaz also lead development of trainer/simulator software projects for anti tank missile warfare and artillery warfare. The systems are used in several armed forces globally including IDF. In 2004, they became a Project Architect for IAI Malam, responsible for designing and development of the Israel Aircraft Industry's command and control system for unmanned appliances. In 2005, they co-founded Sterna Technologies, inventing and designing a new patented in memory hi speed algebraic database. Boaz also lead development from idea to rollout and wrote system core components in C++. In 2010, they became a Freelance Architect & Developer, designing and developing various technologies including two patents. In 2016, they became a Database Architect and Developer for MinerEye. In 2017, they became a System Architect and Developer for Refundit, designing and developing a tax refund mobile application (IOS & Android) to capture receipt image with mobile camera for tourists tax refund. In 2019, they became a Research and Development Manager for PureSight.

Boaz Shnapp attended Amal Lady Davis College Tel Aviv from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a Practical Engineer degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
