Emile Dawisha

Emile Dawisha is a development and communications leader specializing in international development, refugee empowerment, public health, and gender equity. They began their career as a reporter at Cox Ohio Publishing, writing over 1,000 published articles from 2004 to 2008. Emile has held key roles at various organizations, including serving as a Senior Officer for Communications & Digital Media at United to Beat Malaria, where they led successful campaigns that significantly increased engagement and visibility. Currently, Emile is the Director of Development - U.S. at RefuSHE, focusing on fundraising and marketing strategies for a Nairobi-based NGO supporting refugee girls and young women. They hold a BA in Journalism and French from Miami University.
