Rahul Rastogi has a decade of work experience in the technology and engineering fields. In 2006, they began their career as Team Leader and Mentor for Cornell Baja SAE, where they were responsible for the drivetrain and pioneering a new gearbox design. In 2010, they worked as a Researcher for Cornell Autonomous Systems Laboratory, developing path following and obstacle avoidance algorithms for the Multi-Autonomous Ground Robotics International Challenge. That same year, they also served as a Teaching Assistant for Mechanical Design course at Cornell University, revamping the course from its traditional focus on air motors to something with a more sustainability-focused flair. In 2010, they joined GE Power as a Wind Robotics Engineering & Design, developing new control algorithms and optimizing old control algorithms to improve wind turbine performance. In 2013, they were an AP Calculus and English Teacher at Yaohua International School. In 2014, they became an Advanced Analytics Manager at Nielsen. In 2016, they joined Amazon as a Product Manager, part of a product team building Amazon’s customized internal hiring platform for warehouse and flex jobs. In 2019, they became an AI/ML Senior Product Manager at Black Knight, leading a growing team of engineers and data scientists to build AIVA, a next-gen financial services AI. In 2021, they joined Staircase as Product & Engineering, taking full ownership of two AI-centric products in the Staircase ecosystem. Finally, in 2022 they became the Lead Product Manager at Regal.io.
Rahul Rastogi has a diverse educational background, beginning with their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Rahul then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Automation and Control Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2010 and 2013. In 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, and a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from The Lauder Institute - University of Pennsylvania, which they completed in 2019. Rahul also holds a Six Sigma certification.
