Linde de Herder

Linde de Herder is an experienced ecologist currently serving as a Stadsecoloog at Gemeente Amsterdam since February 2025. Prior to this role, Linde held positions as Projectleider en adviseur ecologie at Regelink Ecologie & Landschap from March 2021 to January 2025 and as a Medewerker secretariaat AISSR at Universiteit van Amsterdam from October 2018 to April 2021. Additionally, Linde conducted research on the effects of events on biodiversity in urban parks while working as a Onderzoeker IBED at Universiteit van Amsterdam from January 2018 to August 2018. Linde's earlier work experience includes roles in hospitality, specifically at Deksels! Lekkere Dingen and Kantjil en de Tijger. Linde holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Ecology and Evolution and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, both from the University of Amsterdam, with studies spanning from 2010 to 2018.
