Shawn Thomason has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and organizations. Shawn currently serves as a Project Manager at Regency Enterprises Services, LLC, where they oversee day-to-day operations and supervises staff for the MetroLink contract. Prior to this, Shawn held multiple roles at St. Patrick Center, including Manager of Workforce Development, Training & Sustainability Coordinator, and Job Developer. At Productive Living Board, they served as the Assistant Director of Program Services and Quality, overseeing projects for citizens with developmental disabilities. Shawn also worked at MERS/Goodwill as the Manager of Supported Employment & Transition and at Marygrove as a Child Care Worker. Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated their skills in project management, workforce development, and program oversight.
Shawn Thomason, MPA, CPD, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the years of 1986 to 1991. Following this, Shawn pursued a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the same institution, completing it from 1992 to 1996. In 2020, Shawn obtained the title of Certified Project Director (CPD) from the Institute of Project Management.
