Gajendran N

Gajendran N has a wealth of experience in the field of medical physics. Gajendran started their career at Lucknow Cancer Institute & Hospital Private Limited in 2010 as a Medical Physicist, where they performed monthly quality assurance checks and validated hand calculations for the treatment planning system. In 2011, they joined Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences as a Medical Physicist & RSO, where they gained experience with various equipment such as linear accelerators, telecobalt units, and brachytherapy units. Gajendran also worked with treatment planning systems such as Varian Eclipse and Elekta Oncentra. In 2017, they moved to HCG Regency Oncology Healthcare Private Limited, where they continued their role as a Medical Physicist & RSO, working with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and Varian Eclipse treatment planning system. Most recently, they joined Regency Healthcare - Kanpur in 2018 as the Chief Medical Physicist & RSO, contributing to the utilization and management of advanced equipment like Varian TrueBeam and Gamma MedPlus for radiation therapy. Gajendran also gained experience with treatment planning systems such as Varian Eclipse, Varian Brachy Vision, and Varian ARIA.

Gajendran N completed their M.Sc in Health/Medical Physics from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli in the years 2008-2010. Gajendran also obtained the RSO (Medical) certification from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in 2011.
