ReGeneration Schools
Lashon Blackwell has a strong background in education with a focus on early childhood and special education. Currently serving as a Case Manager, MTSS Coordinator, and Teacher at ReGeneration Schools since August 2019, Lashon has previously held the position of Kindergarten Teacher at KIPP Chicago and worked as a 1st Grade Teacher at Uncommon Schools. Additionally, Lashon gained experience as a Summer School Teacher at Higher Achievement. Lashon holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Spelman College.

ReGeneration Schools is a non-profit school management organization that's dedicated to ensuring that all children have equal access to high quality, college-preparatory education through academic excellence and the content of their character. We currently manage a network of six schools on three CICS campuses in Chicago, IL, and three schools in Cincinnati, OH. ReGeneration Schools prepares all students to enter and succeed in college through effort, achievement and the content of their character.
