Postdoctoral Scientist - Ophthalmology

Aarin J. is currently a Postdoctoral Scientist in Ophthalmology at Regeneron, focusing on the complement cleavage cascade's role in ophthalmological disorders, particularly geographic atrophy age-related macular degeneration (GA-AMD). Responsibilities include conducting in vitro, molecular, and animal studies to further understand complement biology in the eye. Aarin also has experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant investigating epigenetic links to obesity and Type 2 Diabetes and was a competitive NCAA Division 1 track and field athlete at Purdue University.
