Aarti Sharma

Aarti Sharma is an experienced professional in the field of neurodegenerative diseases with a focus on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Currently serving as the Associate Director for Motor Neuron Diseases at Regeneron since July 2016, Aarti has progressed through roles as Senior Staff Scientist and Staff Scientist. Prior to this, Aarti worked at Columbia University Medical Center from November 2009 to July 2016 as an Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Scientist, contributing to the development and characterization of novel animal and cell models of ALS, particularly related to TDP-43 and FUS. Aarti's expertise includes designing gene targeting constructs for creating conditional targeted transgenic knock-in animals.
