Dan Chalothorn

Dan Chalothorn is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in cardiovascular and renal research. Currently serving as the Director of Cardiovascular & Renal Research at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, they lead a team focused on coagulation factor disorders. Dan previously held positions as Senior Staff Scientist and Staff Scientist at Regeneron, where they managed teams and conducted research on various conditions, including thrombosis and hemophilia. Their academic background includes a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in Chemistry and Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University. Dan also contributed to the field as a Post-doctoral Fellow and Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
