Jianming Kang

Jianming (Jay) Kang Ph.D. is currently a Senior Scientist at Regeneron, focusing on the development and qualification of ELISA-based HCP impurity methods to support AAV and VLP product development. With prior experience as an Executive Council Member at the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association and as a Scientist II and I at Primera Analytical Solutions Corporation, Jianming contributed to over 10 analytical projects with a perfect on-time delivery rate. Jianming's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington, where significant work involved the synthesis of modified histones and analysis of protein-protein interactions, as well as a research assistantship at Washington State University that emphasized novel prodrug development. Jianming holds a PhD in Chemical Biology from Washington State University and a BS in Applied Chemistry from Shanxi University.
