Jonathan Marchini is the Executive Director and Head of Statistical Genetics and Machine Learning at the Regeneron Genetics Center. Their research encompasses statistical and population genomics, highlighting significant contributions such as pioneering genotype imputation and developing the REGENIE machine learning method. With a DPhil from Oxford focusing on statistical image analysis of MRI and extensive experience at the University of Oxford and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, Jonathan has also co-led the Haplotype Reference Consortium and received notable funding for their work. They co-founded GENSCI LTD in 2016 and were recognized with a Philip Leverhulme Research Prize in 2012.
