Will Salerno

Will Salerno is the Executive Director of Genome Informatics & Data Engineering at the Regeneron Genetics Center, a position held since 2023. Previously, they served in various roles at Regeneron, including Senior Director and Director of Genome & Sequencing Informatics, where they focused on genomic data analysis and innovative methods development. Prior to Regeneron, Will was a Senior Staff Scientist at the Human Genome Sequencing Center at Baylor College of Medicine, overseeing R&D efforts and collaborations in genomic sequencing. Will also worked as a Master Tutor and Course Instructor at The Princeton Review from 2007 to 2012, contributing to educational content and speaking to students about test-taking strategies. They earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics from Baylor College of Medicine and a BA in Integrated Science and Mathematics from Northwestern University.
