Barbara Harrington

Barbara Harrington, PhD, currently serves as the Coordinator of Screenwriting Programs at Regent University since July 2019. With extensive experience in academia, Barbara held the position of Associate Professor at Azusa Pacific University's Honors College from September 2014 to July 2019. As a founding partner of Catharsis: The Story Lab, Barbara offered consulting on entertainment projects and educational services related to storytelling. Barbara also has a notable history of leadership roles, including Executive Director of the Galileo Forum at Azusa Pacific University and Creative Director at Origin Entertainment. An accomplished educator, Barbara has taught various screenwriting and cinema courses at multiple universities. Barbara completed a PhD in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University and holds a Master's degree from Northwestern University in radio/TV/film, among other qualifications.
