Andrew Levin has over seven years of work experience in the engineering and teaching fields. In 2021, they began working as the Embedded Software Engineering Lead at REGENT. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Radio Systems Integration Engineer at Sonos, Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Avionics Hardware Engineer at Vector Launch Inc., where they were the lead designer for hardware-in-the-loop systems, and developed custom PCB's, wire harnesses, and PXI-based LabVIEW software. In 2017, they worked as an Embedded Systems Engineering Intern at Maven Machines, where they designed and built an Android application to gather and utilize real-time truck data off of vehicle data bus, and wrote embedded software in C to improve the performance of Maven's wireless bluetooth headset. Also in 2017, they were an Avionics Engineering Intern at SpaceX. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Systems Engineering Intern at Boeing, where they performed failure analysis on electrical and mechanical aircraft systems, and made R&M predictions and calculations to support and influence aircraft design changes. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Electrical Engineering Intern at Electric Boat, where they performed high-level fault analysis for the Ohio Replacement Weapons Handling System, and worked with a team to develop ideas for OR Weapons Shipping System. Finally, in 2014, they were a Physics Teaching Assistant at Horace Mann School, where they were selected to tutor students, assist with preparation of lectures and labs, and perform illustrative demonstrations.

Andrew Levin attended Northwestern University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
