Heath Nilsen

Associate Aerodynamics Engineer at REGENT Craft

Heath Nilsen is an accomplished aerospace engineering student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2024. Nilsen currently serves as an Incoming Aerodynamics Intern at REGENT and a Computational Methods Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, while participating in the Boeing Undergraduate Research and Innovation Scholar program at MIT AeroAstro. Nilsen has previously gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where contributions included structural and thermal analysis for R&D test flights. Nilsen also worked as an Aerodynamics Engineer with MIT Motorsports and conducted research in various capacities within MIT's Sensing, Perception, Autonomy, and Robot Kinetics Laboratory, as well as the Space Systems Laboratory. Nilsen's diverse skill set is further showcased through a role as a High School Math Tutor at Mathnasium, providing educational support to students.
