Bill Freire

Bill Freire is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in technology delivery and management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Technology Delivery at the University of California since June 2013, Bill leads IT and business teams to enhance business processes, implement digital solutions, and utilize AI for improved customer experiences. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager of IT at Allergan and Director of IT Services at the University of California, Riverside, where strategic planning and technology solutions were emphasized. Bill holds an MBA in Information Management from California State University-San Bernardino, a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, and a Certificate in Information Systems Management from California State University-San Bernardino. Key accomplishments include establishing a new IT department for shared services at the University of California and managing multi-million dollar technology programs.
