Dave Baltaxe

Dave Baltaxe is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in budget management and financial analysis. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Budget & Finance at the University of California since January 2017, Dave oversees a $1 billion budget for the UC System. Prior to this role, significant tenure at LeapFrog saw Dave progress from Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where contributions included successfully managing the company’s IPO, to Vice President of Finance & Analytics, establishing a structured approach to sales operations and profitability analysis. Previous experience includes directing financial planning at ePeople, leading regional finance functions at The Walt Disney Company, and providing strategic consulting at EY. Dave holds an M.B.A. from USC Marshall School of Business and a B.A. in Business/Managerial Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
