Tam M.

Tam M. currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Health Policy and Regulatory Affairs at the University of California since December 2022. Previously, Tam held the position of Deputy Legislative Secretary in the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom from January 2019 to December 2022. Tam has also contributed as a Lecturer at the University of California, Davis - School of Law and the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, teaching courses focused on policy advocacy. Other roles include Assistant Secretary at the California Health & Human Services Agency, Legal and Policy Director at Health Access California, Board Member at The Women's Foundation of California, and Principal Consultant in the California State Senate.
