Mindy Dixon

Mindy Dixon has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Humanities and Composition Teacher at Regents School of Austin since August 2008. In the role of Composition Coordinator, Mindy successfully vetted and implemented new writing curricula for grades 1-6 and has conducted staff training to ensure instructional alignment. Additionally, as Faculty Coordinator, Mindy supports team evaluations and collaborates with the Grammar School Leadership Team on curriculum and personnel needs. Previously, Mindy held the position of Director of Child & Family Program at Presbyterian Children's Homes & Services, where connections were made for families in crisis. Mindy's career began as an Office Manager at More Than a Teacher, overseeing daily operations and student enrollment. Mindy holds a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Texas State University and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
