Katie Masterson

Katie Masterson has a strong background in manufacturing operations and training in the pharmaceutical industry. Katie currently holds the position of Director of Manufacturing Operations at REGENXBIO Inc. since April 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CMC Lead and Associate Director at the same company from April 2019 to April 2020. From 2015 to 2019, Katie worked at GSK US, first as a GPS Practitioner and then as a Learning and Development Manager. Their earlier experience includes different roles at Human Genome Sciences, such as Manufacturing Technical Training Manager, Project Coordinator, Technical Services, Technical Training Supervisor, and Bioprocess Associate in Upstream Process Development.

Katie Masterson completed their Master of Science degree in Regulatory Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University in the years 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Virginia Tech from 1998 to 2002, although no degree name or field of study is specified. In addition, they obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, Washington DC Chapter, Inc in the year 2013.
